The Kingsport Osteopathic Clinic is looking to fill a full-time position for an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner as soon as possible. The Clinic is located in a beautiful area of rural Nova Scotia overlooking the Minas Basin at the end of the Bay of Fundy which boasts the highest tides in the world.
The successful applicant should be knowledgeable and energetic with a desire to develop their osteopathic assessment and palpation skills. English is a requirement, and the applicant will need to be a member in good standing with the OAO and the NSAO. Duties include osteopathic intake, assessment and treatment planning for future care, liaising with other health care practitioners as needed and report writing. Good note taking is essential.
The clinic provides: all patient referrals, marketing and promotional materials, equipment (sheets, pillows, table, etc.), laundry and cleaning facilities, as well as full secretarial services. Kitchen and lounge/porch areas overlooking the ocean are made available to staff during work hours 8 -5 Mon-Fri.

Since its inception in 1996 the Kingsport Clinic has been a training ground for many international osteopaths from Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, and Finland.
