Busy multidisciplinary clinic consisting of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners,
Physiotherapists, Massage therapist, Psychologist and Social worker is looking for an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join its team.

Position available June, 2018.

Candidates must be eligible for membership with the NSAO and OAO, have professional malpractice insurance and the equivalent of an M.Sc. or B.Sc. 1 year experience preferred.
Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and client based. Also be willing to assist with clinic PR and develop own practice as necessary.
The position is available either as an employee offering a minimum salary of $55,000 per annum based on 30 hours per week or as an independent contractor paying a percentage of billings. Relocation bonus available.
Middleton is a small town in The Annapolis Valley and offers many amenities and an affordable lifestyle.

Enthusiastic Osteopathic Manual Practitioner wanted to join established multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine clinic located in downtown Toronto.  This full-time position will be available in January 2018.  Warm, friendly work environment, full reception support, fully electronic medical records and 25 allied health professionals in house. Newly renovated 7,000 square-foot clinic space.   You will be paid a competitive split, which is negotiable based on experience and training.  New graduates welcome.

What Are We Looking For?

The successful applicant will have training in Osteopathy and will integrate cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation and osteo-articular techniques as well as understanding how all these systems work together.  The applicant must also be comfortable with treating a variety of conditions, including: acute injuries, stress induced health problems, chronic illness, etc.

The applicant must also;

  • be a graduate of an osteopathic educational institution with a bona fide Ontario College and a DOMP
  • Your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Association must be recognized by Insurance companies in Ontario.
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have a non-competitive team philosophy focusing on exceptional client care and experience in all stages of treatment and communication
  • be in good standing with professional association
  • have up to date professional liability insurance
  • have a desire to further build his/her own practice.

• Clinic website including your biography, services offered, and online marketing
• Inclusion in Skye Health marketing materials, resources, and events
• Cleaning

As a Subcontractor of Skye Health, you will be responsible for the following:
• Provide safe, competent and ethical Osteopathic Manual therapy to your patients
• Act in a professional manner towards all patients, practitioners and support staff in the clinic
• Be available to treat patients on a full-time basis (30 hours per week minimum)
• Contribute to and be involved in community engagement events i.e. blogs, newsletter, educational talks/seminars, to market and promote your business within Skye Health
• Maintain an active license with your governing college and association
• Maintain insurance for error and omissions and general liability

All monthly expenses will be paid through a fair and competitive fee split.
